WoltersWorks builds and operates AI-powered product advisor tools for specialist ecommerce stores. We sell to businesses (B2B). This policy covers personal data that WoltersWorks collects through this website only.

The AI product advisor embedded in merchant storefronts is covered separately by the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) between WoltersWorks and each merchant, not by this policy.

Contact and enquiry data. When you submit a contact form, send us an email, or book a strategy call via Calendly, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to business enquiries. Retention: 2 years from the last interaction, or for the duration of a commercial relationship.

Calendly scheduling data. When you book a call, Calendly processes your booking details. WoltersWorks receives your name, email, and appointment time. Calendly acts as an independent controller for its own platform data. Their privacy policy applies alongside this one.

Website analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use this site (pages visited, referrer, session duration). Where this involves non-essential cookies or tracking, we collect your consent first via the cookie banner. Retention: 13 months.

Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are used to keep the website functional and are placed without consent. Non-essential cookies (analytics, preferences) are placed only after you consent. See the cookie notice on this page.

• To respond to sales enquiries and follow up on strategy calls
• To understand how our website is used and improve it
• To comply with legal and contractual obligations

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

We only share personal data where necessary to operate our services:

• Calendly (scheduling). Your booking data is processed by Calendly, Inc. when you book a call. Standard Contractual Clauses cover the transfer to the US.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers. Our hosting provider processes data as part of operating this website. We ensure appropriate data processing agreements and transfer mechanisms are in place.

We do not share data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Some service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or an applicable adequacy decision, to ensure equivalent protection.

Under the GDPR (and Dutch AVG), you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Restrict processing in certain circumstances
• Portability of data you provided to us
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based
